James Harold Shell

James "Sandy" Harold Shell, 69, of Lake Charles, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Conroe, TX. He was born to his late parents, James and Ola Mae Shell on February 23, 1952 in Dallas, TX. He was a pilot, enjoyed carpentry/woodworking, technology, and loved to travel. Sandy was an avid reader. James always would lend a helping hand, whether it be day or night. Sandy was very proud of his children and grandchildren and loved them more than anything.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Janie Shell; children, Clayton Shell (Millisa) of Lake Charles, Gina Touchet (Corry) of Jennings, Brandt Shell of Lake Charles, Jaclyn Istre (Brandon) of Lake Charles, Sarah Bordelon (Stephen) of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren who affectionately called him Paw Paw Sandy, Hayden Shell, Kensey Gary, Dylan Gary (Brynn), Samantha Gary, Asha Shell, Gage Viator, Strason Istre, Brecken Bordelon, Lawton Bordelon; and one great granddaughter, Amelia Delgado.

Sandy is preceded in death by his grandson, Keagan Shell.
