Joyce Derouen

Joyce graduated from Lake Arthur in 1958. She was a homemaker and CNA who volunteered for anything that would help her children or grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her husband and soulmate Rodney Derouen and her son Michael Shane Derouen.

She is survived by her sister, Johnson Ann Pierce; her brother, Jay Johnson; her daughter, Yvette Derouen; her son, Kelly Derouen; her grandsons, Kerry Derouen, Korry Derouen; her adopted grandsons, Jamie "Butters" Turner and Graysin “Littleman" Gremillion; and her great-grandsons, Kyle, Keelyn and Liam.

A memorial visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 9am until time of memorial service at 12pm.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice, and Golden Age of Welsh, we would also like to thank all our family and friends for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
