Lula Marie Smith

She was born in Welsh and lived there most of her life. She loved ceramics, pottery, enjoyed traveling, sewing and her dog, Snuffy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Faye Smith Nunn and husband, James of Carencro, LA; son, Joseph Smith Jr. and wife, Barbara of Jennings, LA; sister, Louella Lognion Romero of Welsh, LA; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; nephews, Scotty Romero and Don Romero.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Joseph Terry Smith Sr.; parents, Phifsbert and Eva (Trahan) Lognion; nephew Anthony “Tony” Romero

Her funeral will be 10am, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel of Welsh. Pastor Jay Jolivette will officiate. Burial will be in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery.
