Mary Ann (Kennedy) Schexnayder Hebert Flowers

Mary Ann was a native of Elton and lifelong resident of Welsh. She was a Minister and very strong in her faith. Mary was also a caregiver to the elderly in the town of Welsh.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Arthur "Arty" James Schexnayder (Angel), Laura Ann Schexnayder, Allen Roy Schexnayder (Tabatha), Inez Irene Fruge (Bruce), and Vernie Natalie Schexnayder Simar (Jake); 10 grandchildren, Amber McCord, Brittany Royer, Chasity Guidry, Roy Eugene Owens, Matthew Steven Owens, Allison Schexnayder, Lauren Smith, Seth Fruge, Tyler Schexnayder, Olivia Parson, and Anna Guillory; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Harold Winston Kennedy (Pat); and sister-in-law, Mavis Kennedy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, James "Jimmy" Fruge Kennedy and Jessie Mae Kennedy Manuel.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Arty, Allen, Gene, Steven, Tyler, Amber, Allison, Cameron, and Jake.
