Abeldia Maria Balli, age 76, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Valley Grande Manor in Weslaco. She was born on September 12, 1947 in Waco, TX. In 1970, Abeldia met Vidal at Perry's of Weslaco and went to have two daughters, JoLynn and Jeralyn Marie. In 2010, Abeldia retired after serving as a Regional Manager for a large scale retail chain. In retirement, Abeldia spent her time cooking, listening to music, traveling but most of all she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and daughters. Abeldia is preceded in death by her father, Arnulfo Olivo; mother, Tomasita H Olivo; daughter, Jeralyn M. Balli and various siblings. She is survived by her husband, Vidal O. Balli; daughter, Jolynn (Joe) Herrera; grandson, Aron A. Cancino; granddaughter, Alexa K. Cancino and grandson, Asa LC Herrera. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 2 pm to 10 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be celebrated at 10 am, Monday, June 24, 2024 at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
