

Adan Marin Perales, age 79, of Weslaco, left to be with the Lord on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born to Trinidad and Alfredo Perales on July 23, 1944 in Weslaco, Texas.
Adan was dedicated to teaching and coaching and exercised this dedication at the Elsa-Edcouch ISD for 30 years. After retirement he continued his love for education as a substitute teacher at Weslaco ISD. Mr. Perales had a passion for building homes, enjoyed carpentry and crossword puzzles. He enjoyed meeting new people and loved making people laugh, cracking jokes.
He is now reunited with his parents and beloved wife, Gloria Bustamante Perales, who have preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Maxine Perales Meave, Stacy (Jaime) Perales Moreno, Adan Alfonso (Krystal) and Abram (Joann Mendez) Perales. He will also be greatly missed by his cherished grandchildren: Daniel Meave, Miranda Perales, Felicity Perales, Jose D. Zuniga, Alejandro J. Zuniga, Nathan Gonzales, Nicolas Moreno, Violet Perales, Dax Perales, Bailey Perales, Audrina Perales, Abram Perales Jr.
Family will receive friends Friday, December 1, 2023 from 2 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Service will be celebrated Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Weslaco.
