Arturo Santa Maria

Arturo Santa Maria, 58, left to be with the Lord on May 27, 2023 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born October 6, 1964 in San Juan, TX. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Juanita Santa Maria, daughter Rebecca Santa Maria and his parents: Mr. Oscar & Dominga Santa Maria who have preceded him in death. Arturo was employed at PSJA ISD for 26 years. He had a great love for coaching kids and instilling the love of sports. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Vanessa Rae (Joe) Santa Maria, Valerie Santa Maria; grandchildren: Emery Rose Crips, Zachary Alexander Crips. He will also be greatly missed by his siblings: Aron (Laura) Santa Maria, Oscar (Marta) Santa Maria Jr, Jorge (Norma) Santa Maria, Marisela (Rogelio Jr) Ramos and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nephews & nieces. Having the honor of serving as pallbearers are: Aron Jr, Jorge Jr, Josue Santa Maria, Rogelio Jr, Rogelio Ramos III and Eddie Serna. Family will receive friends Monday, May 29, 2023 from 4 pm to 10 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
