

Dominga was an avid reader for years. She also enjoyed playing chalupa and was a wonderful storyteller. She had a kind heart and was a friend to all. Her radiant smile and humble spirit will be missed. Her depth of love and happiness will forever remain in our hearts. She brought immeasurable joy into our lives and will certainly be missed.
Dominga is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Juanita Nuñez, her sisters Amalia and Natalia Nuñez, and her brothers Fidel (Maria Elena) and Pedro Nuñez (Sofia).
Dominga is survived by her sisters Maria N. Contreras (Juan†) and Anita N. Altamira (Ricardo) and her brothers Amando (Ventura†), Teodoro, and Juanito (Mari) Nuñez. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Dominga’s family would like to express sincere appreciation to the ICU staff and all those who fought to keep her alive. Special thanks also to the staff at Weslaco Nursing and Rehab facility where she resided and was well cared for the last three years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 North Fm 88 Weslaco, Texas 78599. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas, followed by the burial at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas 78599.
