Efrain Alejandro

Efrain Alejandro, 70, of San Juan, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2024 in McAllen. Efrain was born on May 5, 1953 in Weslaco to Jose and Atilana Alejandro. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Delfino Alejandro, Herlinda Rodríguez, José Manuel Alejandro, Magdalena Reyes and Esperanza López. Efrain is survived by his loving wife, Altagracia Quiroz Alejandro; his children: Cristina Alejandro González, Rene (Shannon) Alejandro, Christina Marie Alejandro; grandchildren: Guillermo González, Felicia Marie González, Faith Anjelique (Jorge) Bautista, Brianna Elise Alejandro, Christian José Alejandro, Mateo Andrew Alejandro, Morgan Mitchell, Kye Mitchell; and 9 great-grandchildren; stepchildren: Maria (Mario) Quiroz Saenz, Mario (Christie) Quiroz; step-grandchildren: Thomas Trinidad Quiroz, Angela Marianna Quiroz, Dianna Altagracia Saenz, Mario Sebastian Quiroz, Sophia Andrea Quiroz, Deseray Prieto, Alexis Gonzalez, Bella Gonzalez: and 1 step-great grandchild. Efrain is also survived by his sisters: Aurora (♰Payton) Stack, Maricela Campos, Noemí Alejandro González; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Efrain was extremely fond of music. He enjoyed singing classic rock or tejano songs, while he played one of his guitars. Efrain took pride in his appearance; he had a unique style. Till the very end, he wore his

bell bottom pants, stylish shirts, and fedora hat. He was a sharp-dressed man. Efrain was a loving and caring husband to Altagracia, his wife of 26 years. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation for Efrain Alejandro is scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a 6:00 pm Rosary at Funeraria del Angel in Weslaco, TX. A mass for Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 306 S. D. Salinas Blvd., Donna, TX. As per his wishes, Efrain will be cremated.
