Elida Castellanos, 85, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025 at Hidalgo Nursing Center in Edinburg. She was born on July 12, 1940, in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Patrocinio Castellanos and Juanita Serrano.
Elida was a woman of quiet strength, known for her simplicity and reserved nature. Though she lived a life that was humble and private, those who knew her remember her for her warmth, kindness, and unspoken wisdom.
She is survived by her two brothers and one sister, who will miss her deeply. Her family, friends, and all who knew her will forever cherish the memories of her gentle spirit.
