Elva is survived by daughter Tomasita Flores (5); daughter Ida Linda Flores (3); daughter Esmeralda Chavez; and daughter Erika Marie Flores (4); sister Dolores Escochea; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren

Elva was preceded in death by her late husband Moises Flores; father Manuel Rios and mother Clara Rios; brother Ramiro Rios Sr.; brother Ruben Rios; brother Manuel Guajardo Rios and sister Guadalupe Gamboa; nephew Ramiro Rios Jr., and great grandson Ruben Castillo Jr..

A visitation for Elva will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A mass will take place Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Weslaco, Texas, followed by an interment at 3:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Rolando Avila Jr, Daniel Lee Montez, Manuel Avila, Ruben Castillo, Julian Burton, Jose A. Cabrera, Cesar Fernandez and Aurelio Ruiz.
