She loved being a grandma, enjoyed gardening, flowers, plants, stickler for cleaning, favorite song was "Tu Carcel" by Los Bukis, and the outside.
Guadalupe survived by her children Rosa C. Vasquez (Juan Jose Vasquez) , Yolanda C. Cantu (Jesus Erasmo Cantu (†), Teresa C. Gonzales (Leroy Gonzales). her grandchildren Selena Vasquez, Murissa Gonzales and Jessica Cantu.
She preceded in death by her husband Hilario Cerda.
A visitation for Guadalupe will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 2:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM til Midnight. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at San Martin De Porres, followed by the interment at 11:00 AM at Weslaco City Cemetery, Weslaco, Texas 78599.
