Javier Marin, age 67, of Farmer's Branch, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2025. Born on October 26, 1957, in Weslaco, Texas, Javier was the beloved son of Jesus Marin and Maria de los Santos Zuniga.
A devoted husband, father, son, and brother, Javier lived a life rooted in love, humility, and quiet strength. He found joy in the simple things—especially relaxing in his recliner and watching classic Westerns like The Rifleman on Netflix. These moments, small to some, were treasures to him—filled with comfort, peace, and nostalgia.
Above all, Javier was immensely proud of his family. He adored his wife, San Juanita Marin, and was deeply devoted to their son, Javier Marin Jr., whose achievements and character filled him with pride every day. His love for them was steady and unwavering, a cornerstone of their lives.
Javier is survived by his loving wife, San Juanita, and their cherished son, Javier Jr. He also leaves behind his beloved mother, Santos Marin, and his brothers and sisters: Natividad Olalde, Alicia M. Ruiz, Maria (Juan) Hernandez, Olga Marin, Sylvia Marin, Beatriz M. Garza and Isaac Marin. He is fondly remembered by numerous nieces and a wide circle of extended family and family-in-love.
Javier's warmth, gentle humor, and steadfast presence will be missed more than words can express. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
