Born on December 20, 1952, in Mexico to Baldomero Salinas and Trinidad Martinez, Margarita was a shining light to all who knew her. Her life was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and joy. She married the love of her life, Julian Patlan, and together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage—a bond built on deep devotion and mutual respect.
Margarita was a woman of many passions and endless warmth. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: nurturing her garden, cooking meals filled with love, and especially making tamales—a tradition she carried with pride and care. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, and her hands worked tirelessly to feed not only her family but everyone who came through her door.
She loved music and dancing, bringing life to every celebration with her radiant smile and spirit. Her talent for finding treasures and hosting memorable garage sales was unmatched, and she turned every gathering into a moment of connection and laughter.
Margarita leaves behind a loving legacy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Julian Patlan; her beloved children: Javier Patlan, Nora Patlan (Rivera), Jaime Patlan, and Julio Cesar Patlan; her cherished grandchildren: Javier Jr, Jazlynn, Jisselle, Janelle, Kaitlyn Rivera, Deric Rivera, Jaime Jr, Jaylene, Julianna, Amerie, Juliette, Emma, and Julio Jr.
She is also survived by her siblings: Erasmo Salinas, Jose Angel Salinas, and Martha Vargas, who shared in her life’s journey. Margarita is now reunited in eternal peace with her siblings Minerva Ramirez, Alvaro Salinas and Juan Alberto Salinas, whom she missed dearly.
Margarita's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. Her kindness, warmth, and laughter will never be forgotten.
