

Naoma Peacock was one of eight children to Louis Herbert Peacock and Mauricia C. Peacock, comprising of four boys and four girls. Throughout her life, Naoma demonstrated resilience and dedication in supporting her two children, Peter and Raul. She spent several years working for Avon, where she cherished the social connections and satisfaction her job provided.
Additionally, Naoma collaborated with her cousin as a field contractor, harvesting onions and chiles. Known for her vibrant personality, Naoma was often the heart of any gathering. She had a passion for dancing and singing; always being the first to tap her foot to the rhythm and share a radiant smile.
In her leisure time, Naoma took pleasure in quilting blankets for her family. She was also an exceptional cook and a nurturing caregiver to all. Naoma was always ready to provide comfort and support to those around her. Furthermore, Naoma was adventurous and had a love for traveling, exploring new places whenever she had the opportunity. She has lived her life to the fullest.
Naoma survived by her children; Peter Peacock ( Elizabeth) and Raul Peacock (Esther), 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, her siblings; Robert Peacock, Leroy Peacock and Pablo Peacock.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Louis H. Peacock Sr, Mauricia C. Peacock, her siblings; Louis H. Peacock Jr, Ruby Pena, Helen Alvarez, Lilly Garza.
Serving as pallbearers: Carson Garza, Ethan Garza, Michael Garza, Miles Peacock, Robert Peacock Jr, Ryan Peacock.
Honorary pallbearers: Katelynn Garza and Cathlynn Leal.
A visitation for Naoma will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A eulogy will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 7:00 PM. A words of comfort will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 7:00 PM. A burial will occur Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
