Nora Elizabeth Guzman

Nora is reunited with her husband David Guzman Sr.; her parents, Francisco and Maria Orta; her daughter, Yvette Guzman; and her siblings, Francisco Orta Jr., Eli Orta, Joe Trevino, Noemi Espinoza, and Paulita Castilleja.

She is survived by her sons, David (Pamela Branson) Guzman Jr. and Enrique (Norma) Guzman; her grandchildren, David Alejandro (Mara) Guzman and Karina Guzman; and her great-grandson, Matthew Garcia. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Toledo and Lidia Martinez, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Nora loved spending time with her boys and her grandchildren. Family-oriented in every sense, she found her greatest joy in being together with those closest to her.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, TX 78599, on March 12, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco, TX 78599, on March 12, 2026, at 7:00 pm. A Chapel Service will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco, TX 78599, on March 13, 2026, at 8:00 am. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, TX 78599, on March 13, 2026, at 9:00 am.
