She was born in Donna, Texas to Felix Ozuna and Luisa Bravo Ozuna on July 19, 1941. She was 7 of the magnificent 8 children and the last to pass on.She will be remembered by all her grandchildren: J.D. Ellis, Zachary Reyna, Christian Reyna, Justin Gonzales, Andres Gonzales, and Alexis Gonzales.
She is predeceased by her husband, Augustine Balli Gonzales III (2003) and her brothers and sisters: Onesimo Ozuna, Francisco Ozuna, Israel Ozuna, Noemi Villanueva, Daniel Ozuna, Lydia Reyna, and Webster Ozuna.
Olga married Augustine Balli Gonzales III in 1962. Together they had 3 children, Beatrice Belinda, Ruth Victoria and Augustine Gonzales IV and lived in Elgin, Illinois and settled in the D/FW area for over 20 years before returning to the RGV in 1987.
Olga was full of charisma and personality and had many friends. You could always catch her on a telephone call and if you missed her call, she'd be sure to leave a voice message that said, "call me"! Olga had creative talents for interior decorating and floral design, she knew how to make everything come together and look beautiful. She also enjoyed reading romance novels by Danielle Steele and equally enjoyed writing in her journals. We are blessed she left us with documentation of her thoughts and recollections. The birthday and holiday cards with handwritten words of encouragement and love that she sent by mail or hand delivered to all of her loved ones will be deeply missed.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude to Allstate Hospice of Edinburg. The owners, nurses, caregivers, Chaplain Cazares and Rebecca for their professionalism and compassionate care.
Olga leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship to all her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. She will never be forgotten by all who knew her.
