Pedro Herrera

Born on August 15, 1971, in Weslaco, Texas, Pedro was the beloved son of Octavio Herrera and Bertha Galindo. A proud Weslaco Panther, Pedro played high school football and carried that Panther pride with him throughout his life. He was passionate about sports and especially enjoyed talking sports with his brothers, conversations that brought him great joy and laughter over the years.

Pedro had a love for life that was impossible to ignore. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing pool billiards, but what truly made him special was his personality. Pedro was a natural jokester who could light up any room with his humor and charm. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making friends everywhere he went. His warmth, laughter, and easygoing spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Above all else, Pedro deeply loved his daughter, Analexis Petrina Herrera, who was the center of his world and greatest pride.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter, Analexis Petrina Herrera; his brothers, Octavio (Carol) Herrera and Carlos (Cynthia) Herrera; his beloved nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Nicole, Chris, Ashley, Joshua, and Heaven; and his devoted friend, Lila Jean Vasquez, to whom Pedro was such a blessing.

Pedro will be remembered for his big heart, his laughter, his love for family and friends, and the joy he brought into the lives of so many. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
