

Raul Edgar Guajardo, age 71, of Donna, Texas passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. He was born to Raul and Modesta Guajardo on July 30, 1952 in Edinburg, Texas. Raul was a Donna High School graduate class of 1971, during his time there he was a member of the National Honor Society and president of the FFA. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree of Science at Texas A&I University in Kingsville. He went on to work for the USDA as a statistician; and eventually went to work for Plantation Produce and Val Verde Vegetable Co. as a truck driver. Raul enjoyed BBQing, traveling and being outdoors. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a proud family man who loved those closest to him. He enjoyed any type of functions where he was able to show his keen sense of humor. He loved to entertain people and would always go out of his way to help out in any situation. He fought a long hard battle to let those who loved him know to have courage and continue life in any situation. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Graciela Guajardo; children: Melissa (Leonso) Saldana, Nelda (David) Rebollar and Clarissa Guajardo; grandchildren: Lillyanna Rebollar, Jacob Rebollar and Matthew Saldana. He will also be greatly missed by his siblings: Javier (Soila) Guajardo, Ester (Eli) Gonzales, Angelina (Nicanor) Valdez and many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Raul and Modesta Guajardo.
