Raul Muniz Jr., age 52, left to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was born on April 26, 1972 to Raul Muniz Sr and Minerva Rivera in Weslaco, Texas. Raul loved to watch football and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed trips to the beach, fishing, BBQ and listening to Tejano music. Raul loved to travel, going out to eat, having some drinks but most importantly spending time with his beloved family. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Melissa Muniz and their sons: Raul Muniz III and Isaac Muniz. He will also be greatly missed his sisters: Cleotilde Muniz, Maribel Rivera; father and mother-in-law: Ramon & Minerva Arispe; sisters-in-law: Maribel (Agustin) Gomez, Melinda (Alex) Villalpando; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was greeted at the gates of heaven by his parents: Raul Muniz Sr and Minerva Muniz who have preceded him in death. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 2 pm to midnight with a rosary at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
