Born on November 3, 1972, Ricardo was a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished son, devoted brother, and a proud public servant. He served with honor and dedication as a Sergeant of Corrections, earning the respect of colleagues and peers through his steady leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to doing what was right.
Ricardo is survived by his loving wife, Liza Garza, and his son, Ricardo Garza III, who was the pride and joy of his life. He also leaves behind his mother, Irma Garza, and his brother, Josue Duane Garza, along with his sister-in-law, Monica Garza and his beloved aunt Rosalinda Garza.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ricardo Garza Sr., and his beloved children — Ryan Richard Garza and his twin babies — who he now joins in eternal rest. The love Ricardo had for them never faded, and he carried their memory with him always.
Those who knew Ricardo will remember him for his quiet strength, his deep compassion, and the way he carried himself with dignity and humility. He led with love — as a husband, a father, a son, a brother, and a friend. His legacy is not only in the years he served, but in the lives he touched and the family he fiercely loved.
Rest in peace, Ricardo. You are reunited with your children in eternal light. Your strength, love, and memory will forever live on.
