Santos Jiménez was born on January 22, 1946 in Mexico. He was known for his kind heart and funny jokes and unstoppable work ethic. He was a dedicated welder and shared his talent by working for the city of Weslaco Tx for many years.
Santos was a full gospel Christian and firmly believed in the power of God. His faith for God was one of the things he constantly shared with anyone he met and with his family. He attended Templo Eben Ezer with Pastor Rosalio Martínez and also attended Templo Fe de Salvacion with Pastors Jose and Maria Rios.
He had 6 children, 16 grand children and 10 great grandchildren who he loved all dearly. Santos always was on the go. Always finding something to do. He had a way of inventing things and was very successful, smart and very responsible while doing it all. He firmly believed that no matter what
Obstacles life presented you with you always find away to go on. His favorite phrases were always “echale ganas” and “que tal” and “ aver que” those phrases never failed to be mentioned.
He often would take a difficult situation and make it teachable. His constant jokes and remarks always filled the room with laughter. He shared so many child hood stories of his life growing up and he made sure to never forget them especially the memories he had of his sister Silvestra G Jimenez who made a big impact in his life. He was loved dearly by all his children and family. The impact he made in their life’s will never be forgotten. All the long conversations, the hard teachings that made all his children who they are today and his faith will always be remembered. You will forever be missed but never forgotten. We love you daddy. Rest In Peace
