Teodoro was born on November 9, 1942, to Guillerma and Rosendo Castillo, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his beloved brothers Edmundo, Calixtro, and Anastacio. A man of quiet strength and unshakable character, Teodoro lived a life of service, devotion, and craftsmanship.
He proudly served in the United States Army for six years during the Vietnam War, where he was wounded in the line of duty and was honored with the Purple Heart, among many other medals and commendations recognizing his bravery and commitment. After his military service, Teodoro continued to serve his community with dignity through eight years of employment with the U.S. Postal Service.
Teodoro was a man who found joy in the work of his hands. He had a gift for carpentry, and whether building, repairing, or restoring, he poured his care and skill into everything he touched. His love of craftsmanship was not just a hobby, but a reflection of his steady, patient nature—a man who shaped not only wood, but the hearts of those around him.
He leaves behind his loving sisters, Rosa Castillo, Virginia Martinez, and Natividad Ramirez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were blessed by his kindness, humility, and sense of humor.
Teodoro's legacy is one of quiet courage, humble service, and enduring love. Though he has left this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
