Yolanda enjoyed life, she always put God and her family first. She was very photogenic and loved taking selfies. She loved to dance, she loved scratch off and lottery tickets and she was always very lucky. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and traveling. She had an amazing sense of humor, and you could always find her with a smile. She was a very caring and devoted CNA for over 20 years. She adored her children, grand children and her great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.
Yolanda is survived by her children LouAnn Aguirre, Jose Oscar Ayala Jr. (Gracie Ayala), Yolanda Yvette Ayala and Omar Ayala; her sisters Bertha Sanchez, Irma Macias (Tomas Macias), Beatriz Mascorro (G.I. Joe Mascorro) and Elisa G. Márquez; her 15 Grandchildren and her 10 Great Grandchildren.
Yolanda also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents Manuel P. Garcia and Guadalupe Silva Garcia and her grandson Andrew Aguirre.
A visitation for Yolanda will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78596. A funeral mass will occur Monday, October 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 600 S. Oklahoma Ave, Weslaco, TX 78596, followed by the interment at 3:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78596.
Serving as pallbearers are Jose Oscar Ayala Jr., Rolando Mascorro, Albert Aguirre Jr., Manny Macias, Joseph Sustaita and Christopher Sustaita.
