Jose G. Garza "Conejito"

Garza, Jose G. (“Conejito”) Born December 14, 1934, Entered into Eternal Life on October 7, 2010 at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo Gonzales and Paula Garza de Gonzalez and son Jose Luis (Capullito). Beloved father of Jose, Elda and Andrea. Beloved brother of Pascual, Estela, Hilda, Generoso, Socorro, Ninfa and Luis. Grandfather of Angelica, Ashley, Subhana and Mohammad. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

He is well known as the owner of Conejito’s Place. He devoted his life to helping the less fortunate. He will be missed by his family and those whose lives he touched. Special thanks to Aurora Sinai Medical Center nurses and doctors for their tender loving care and to Father Bill Burkert and Chaplain Sue Rhodes for their spiritual support.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 10, from 4-8pm at Advantage Funeral Home (11030 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners) and on Monday, October 11, at Our Lady of Lourdes (3722 S. 58th St., Milwaukee) from 8:30 to 10am with a mass honoring his life at 10am. Interment will be at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery (3801 S. 6th St. Milwaukee).
