

Carlos Reynosa passed away on Saturday September 16, 2017, at the age of 56. He served as a police offer for 33 years with the Culver City Police Department. He attended Baldwin Park High School where he earned recognition as an All-League baseball pitcher and played varsity football. After high school, he continued his lifelong affection for sports and played in an adult baseball league, and later participated in competitive soft ball through the police department and various police olympic competitions. He enjoyed playing basketball and golf.
Carlos is survived by his wife Sally Reynosa, his son, Michael, and daughter-in-law Vanessa, his daughter, Christine, and his son-in-law, John Tovar, also survived by his parents Rafael and Herminia Reynosa and brothers Rafael, Sergio, Mark and sister Norma Dann. He will be forever cherished by his 5 beloved grandchildren, Layla Tovar who shares a birthday with him, Ava Tovar, Alexander Tovar, Isabella Tovar and Selena Reynosa. He will be tremendously missed by all who knew him, he leaves behind a legacy of love and passion for his family and friends.
