Consuelo Carlos Castillo

Consuelo Carlos Castillo, age 66, of La Verne, California passed away on Monday March 30, 2020. Consuelo was born November 3, 1953 in Covina, California. Survived by her Husband Timothy Castillo of La Verne,Ca. Three daughters Nadine Simons , Isabelle Castillo, Olivia Castillo. She was a grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 2. She was born in Covina, California. She lived in Azusa, Ca and also Pomona,Ca for many years before moving to her last place of residence in La Verne, Ca. She was married to her husband timothy for 30 years and were together 44 years.

Dear Family and Friends,

All are welcome to come and mourn together as we celebrate the life of our beautiful Connie. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic things are going to look a little different from what everyone is used to. Please read the following all the way through.

Viewing;

Viewing will be 2 pm - 5 pm in the home of her eldest daughter Nadine Simons. Everyone is asked to remain outside and take turns going inside to view. This allows everyone to view and say goodbye in a safe environment that is within the social distancing guidelines. For those who would like to pay their respects and leave, that is absolutely okay.

Outside there will be plenty of space and seating for everyone to sit/ stand as close or as far as they are comfortable. Please approach family and friends respectfully, allowing them to express their comfort level in regards to touching/ embracing.

Service

For those who wish to share memories and support the family by being present for a small service. Pastor John of House Of Praise Fellowship will begin at 5 pm. The service will be outside.

Again, during this time please be mindful of social distancing and the comfort level of those around you.

Please know, no one is naive to the times we are in. Each of you have to decide what you are comfortable with and what you are not. While it may not be in the traditional setting her Daughter's wish to honor her passing as best they can. We sincerely hope that all who can attend do. But, for those who can only send their love, that is okay. If you have any symptoms it is respectfully requested you not attend.
