Jesus A. Cardenas "Chuy"

Jesus A. Cardenas of Duarte went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2016. He was born to Emilio and Elvira Cardenas on June 2, 1942 in Ocorlita Michoacan, MX. He had 11 siblings. He married Rosario Cardenas on July 7, 1966. They lived in Jiliotupa, Colima and

had 6 children, Arnoldo, Hortencia, Olivia, Alfonso, Bertha, and Sergio. During his young life before marriage he worked in the Orchard fields,

he was a harvester picking crops. He was a truck driver delivering wood. He left his family for a short while and moved to California in 1977 for a

better future to his family and became a CNA for 20 years. In 1980, he then sent for his family and started a new life with them in the U.S. In 1991, his 7th child was born, Sonia.

In his early 50's he retired due to an incident at work. He then, dedicated his life, his time raising his 7 children with the support of his wife.

Jesus was a passionate,loyal, most lovable person to his family and friends, loved giving and receiving kisses from his loved once. He was a hard working man. He liked his neighbors,

he enjoyed people coming over and entertaining them with his funny jokes. He was a wiseman and a happy person who loved to sing. His hobbies were

playing dominos, gardening and maintaining his favorite roses. His favorite soccer team was Mexico and the Chivas.

Jesus Cardenas left behind his loving wife Rosario Cardenas of 50 years, 7 children, 19 grandchildren, 4 great grandkids one on the way,

daughter in-laws, son in-law, and 5 brothers.His father, Emilio Cardenas, mother, Elvira Espindola called him to heaven in August 28, 2016.
