Maria de Jesus Lopez

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, went Home to God peacefully at home, September 22, 2025 at the age of 88.

She was known for her Catholic faith, deep and consistent prayer, sweet nurturing nature, and her ability to make everyone feel at home and loved.

Maria De Jesus Diaz was born August 8, 1937. She was the fourth of eleven siblings. All remember her deep love for family. Very caring, watchful, and protective of her younger siblings and parents.

Married on December 17, 1957 to Salvador Lopez. Maria had five children who she raised with a life and home full of love, kindness, and grace. She was a wonderful wife and mother who was always there when we needed her the most. Offering support, guidance, wisdom, and her love in abundance!

Flowers were her passion! Always filling her home and gardens with their beauty and shared with everyone around her.

Maria was preceded in death by her eldest daughter Eloise, and youngest son, Robert.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Salvador, daughter Genevieve, and sons, Ernie and Sal, 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will remember her for her unwavering support, her warm hugs, blessings, and the joy she brought to everyone she met.
