Andy was born on April 24, 1977, in Dubuque, Iowa. He graduated from Johnston High School and attended Iowa State University.
Andy was deeply passionate about his career in IT security, a field in which he took great pride and demonstrated dedication, intelligence, and integrity. Beyond his professional life, Andy was known as one of the most caring and kind-hearted people you could meet.
Andy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved music and could always appreciate a good song, and he especially cherished time spent fishing with his friends and family.
In a final act of generosity that truly reflected who he was, Andy chose to donate his organs so he could continue to help others even when he could no longer do so himself. His selfless gift will live on through the lives he saved and touched.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Roeth; grandparents, Loras and Ann Lattner; Gene and Marge Roeth; Uncle and Aunt, John and Lynne Lattner; and cousin Tyler Lattner.
Andy is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary Ann and Harley Roth; brother, Ryan (Katie) Roeth; sister, Megan (Daniel) Stephens; fiancé, Stacey Nielsen; nieces, Anna and Ally Roeth and Norah Stephens; and nephew, Ryder Stephens. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend whose love and presence will be deeply missed.
