Audrey Jean Nuss passed away on December 30, 2025 in West Des Moines, IA. A visitation will be held at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel, located at 801 -19th Street, West Des Moines, Iowa, 50265, on January 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Another visitation will take place at Jurrens Funeral Home, Andringa Funeral Chapel, at 855 Main Street, Ocheyedan, IA, 51354, on January 5, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Audrey was born on July 2, 1930 on a farm near Ocheyedan, IA to Albert and Irene (Pearson) Pedley. She attended elementary school in Harris, IA., and graduated from Ocheyedan High School in 1948.
Audrey married her high school sweetheart, James Nuss, in 1951. She and James had two sons, Michael (1952) and Gregory (1955).
Audrey is survived by her sons Michael (Karlene) of West Des Moines, IA and Gregory (Marsha) of Greensburg, PA; stepson, Curtis (Melissa) Nelson of Altoona, IA; stepdaughter, Laura Findle and daughter, Gracie, of Greensburg, PA; Julie (Zac) Clark of Ankeny, IA; Brian (Mindy) Glenn of Bloomfield, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, and her brother, Dale Pedley and his wife, Lucille.
Audrey will be interned next to her husband at the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery.
