A memorial mass will immediately follow at Sacred Heart at 1 p.m. In remembrance of Cyndi’s Life, the family has asked that donations be made to your favorite charity or to the family for her children’s continuing education.
Nothing was more important to Cyndi than her family. She cared for her children with unconditional love and unrelenting commitment. Their needs always owned the top spot on her priority list. She also cherished her husband, Pat. The two shared core values that served as a sturdy foundation for their marriage. Cyndi’s thoughtful, compassionate, and selfless approach to life lifted everyone she touched. Her easy-going nature, extraordinary listening skills, and kind-heartedness earned her the beloved nickname of “Saint Cyndi.”
Cyndi was born on Oct. 21, 1966 in Milwaukee, WI to David (Laura) and Midge Croysdale. She attended Nicolet High School in Glendale, WI and was a confirmed member of North Shore Congregational Church. From an early age, Cyndi had a passion for gymnastics and became an accomplished athlete. She was a state champion for the Wisconsin High School Gymnastics Association. Cyndi attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and Cardinal Stitch University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications. In addition to being an incredible mother and homemaker, Cyndi was a dedicated employee of the Walnut Creek YMCA serving as a swim instructor and in other various positions for the past 15 years.
Over the years, Cyndi and Pat enjoyed supporting the many activities involving their children and regularly participated in outings with friends. They recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and always loved taking trips together over the years. Whether it be visiting family and friends back in Wisconsin or adventuring in other parts of the world, such as Hawaii and Ireland.
Cyndi is survived by her husband, Pat, and their three children, Colin, McKenna and Keely; as well as her parents, David (Laura) and Midge Croysdale and brother, Jeff (Kristen) all from Milwaukee, WI. In addition, she leaves behind three uncles, Bill (Bev Bryan), Lewis Stockard, and Dennis (Lesley) Croysdale; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Bridget (Allan) Urban, Maureen Creed, and Colleen (John) Pfister; and many nieces and nephews.
Cyndi’s smile, warmth, and caring nature were generously shared with all who knew her. We all are blessed to have had Cyndi in our lives, and we will hold her in our hearts forever.
Love you Sweetheart
