Mr. Bolfik was known as Coach to us at Marcus Community high school in Marcus, Iowa. He was hired to Coach wrestling but helped us start a girls' track team. He was a good role model, fun to have on faculty. I am sorry to hear of his death and the loss to his family. I remember him fondly.

Lee and I both have such fond memories of "Mr. Bolfik" and the many  lives he touched in his life.  He was a great coach, teacher, and role model.    His name comes up so often in conversations in Marcus.  He definitely made an life impression on many of his Marcus students.

I hadn't realized Dave had been ill or that he had passed.  I was working today, but would have taken the day off had I known.  I will contact you soon.
