Urbandale
Dave Haun, born February 12, 1962, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday.
Dave moved to the United States from Brantford, Ontario, Canada with his family in 1966. He worked as a machinist for several companies. Dave was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping, boating and cooking.
Dave is survived by his daughter, Lauren Haun of Moline, IL; parents, Lorne and Eleanor Haun of Johnston; three sisters, Kathryn Haun of West Des Moines, Christine Haun of Urbandale and Joanne (John) Kelling of Johnston; and many other relatives in Iowa and Canada.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hope Ministries.
