Donna Fisher, 80, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Rippey Cemetery in Rippey, Iowa.
Donna was born in Richland, Missouri the daughter of Arch and Cecil (Wyrick) Kinder, and grew up in the Gardner and Perry, Iowa area. She lived most of her adult life in Des Moines and was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; son, David (Chris) Fisher of Des Moines; granddaughter, Kelli Brommel (Jason Mueller) and two great-grandchildren, Noah and Emily Mueller, all of Iowa City, Iowa; brother, Bob (Vi) Kinder of Forest Grove, Oregon; and two sisters, Doris Bagatti of Folsom, California and Beverly Tomer of Okoboji, Iowa. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bud; daughter, Carol; two brothers, Gene and Bud Kinder; and three step-brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel in West Des Moines.
