Francesca G. Cairo, 90, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at University Park Care Center in Des Moines. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 15 at McLaren's Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at McLaren's Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Survivors include her sons, Orren L. (Norma) Cairo, Brent R. (Julie) Cairo of West Des Moines, IA; Ronald D. (Susan) Cairo of Venice, Fl; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, her grandson, Tyler Cairo, great grandson, Ronald Shomette, and her great grand-daughter Holly Cairo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central Iowa.
