Kathy was born August 23, 1952 in Rock Island, IL to Leroy and Evelyn (Baker) Garvey. She was a billing specialist at Century Link, where she retired after 30 years. Kathy enjoyed visiting wineries, camping, traveling and gardening.
Kathy is survived by her husband, David Frances of West Des Moines; sons, Sam (Tara Minetos) Frances of North Liberty and Chris (Chris Mickelson) Frances of Council Bluffs; and sisters, Linda (Don) Pruett of MO and Mary (Terry) Barrett of Rock Island, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
