Letitia Moore, 93, passed away on November 27, 2025 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born in 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska and was the beloved daughter of Theodore and Bess.A dedicated educator with a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, she worked as an elementary school teacher, and for many years at the West Des Moines Public Library. Letitia was known for her kindness and caring nature, and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, cooking, scrapbooking and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert Moore. Letitia is survived by her loving children, Robin and Leah, and her five cherished grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Legacy Woods Arboretum and Nature Sanctuary in her memory.
