Margie L. Frank, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Margie’s wish was to be cremated and a private family service is planned.
Margie was born in Askov, Minnesota the daughter of Walter and Opal Johansen. She lived in West Des Moines most of her life. Margie had a great love for her family and also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her four children, Michele Frank and Brad Frank, both of Urbandale, Lisa (Don) Krois of Clive, and Janette Frank of Sarasota, Florida; six grandchildren, Amanda and Christopher Dorff, Stephanie Krois, and Andrew, Stephen and Brian Felman; three brothers, Norman (Pat) Johansen, Melvin (Lavon) Johansen, and Bob (Rose Ann) Johansen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph P. Frank; and brothers, Roy and Richard.
