Mary Louise (Church) Beck, 92, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Taylor House. A service is planned for her on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at McLarens Resthaven Mausoleum in West Des Moines, Iowa, where her remains will be interred.
Mary was born in Des Moines, Iowa, the youngest of three, in November 1933 to Charlie and Louise Church. Mary lived her entire life in the Beaverdale area of Des Moines, graduating from high school and going on to work for over 40 years for a local insurance company. In 1954 she married Fred G. Beck.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Jean (Church) Gray, her brother Walter Church, a niece and two nephews. She leaves behind a nephew (Thomas Church), four nieces (Pamela McConnell, Harriet Owen, Patricia Goodfriend, and Margaret Legner) as well as several great nephews and nieces.
