Nancy Sue Bice

Nancy Bice,73 , passed away on March 27, 2025, at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be held in conjunction with her dad Clyde’s funeral on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel in West Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Nancys wishes were to be cremated following services.

She was born on March 16, 1952, to Clyde and Edna (Halverson) Bice in Des Moines, Iowa. Nancy was a social and vibrant person who loved to laugh and be surrounded by people. Known for her kindness and sweet nature, she also had a feisty side that made her unforgettable. She was fortunate to travel extensively with her group home, visiting places such as Disney and Graceland.

Nancy had a deep love for the holidays and delighted in dressing up for every occasion. She adored bright colors, big jewelry, and makeup, always embracing life with a sense of fun and creativity. A talented crafter, she kept herself busy with various projects. Above all, Nancy cherished her family, especially her role as a great-aunt, finding joy in being surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her siblings Candy (Jose) Aguilar and JoAnn; her nieces and nephews, Jose, Cecilia, and Christina; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Edna.
