Patty was born in Des Moines on January 26, 1943 and made her trip up to heaven 2:00 a.m. December 30, 2011. Patty was comfy and warm until, in God’s own good time, she passed away at Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
She is survived by her loving husband Bob; her distinguished brother, Eugene Coll of sunshiny Florida; their children, Chris Rhiner, Julie Thompson (Bruce), Steve Rhiner (Kari), Lisa Ireland (Jason); 73 grandchildren; and lots of kids she loved up, even though they didn’t belong to her.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at McLaren’s Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at McLaren’s Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
