Patti Linn Reeves, 72, of West Des Moines, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 with a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Westchester Evangelical Free Church, 4919 NW Aurora Ave., Des Moines, IA 50310.
Patti was born October 14, 1949 in Burlington, Iowa to Melvin and Betty (Penelerick) Briggs. She graduated from Urbandale High School and from Northern Illinois University. Patti was a teacher all her life and retired from Iowa Christian Academy. She loved puzzles, reading, spending time with her family, neighbors and friends, and building relationships.
Patti is survived by two children, Daniel (Morgan) and Meredith (Ben) Cadwell; seven grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Raedeen) Briggs; sister, Vicki Evans; and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan and her parents.
Memorials may be directed to Two Rivers Classical Academy.
