Ray was an avid golfer for most of his life. He was a huge Hawkeye fan and cheered for all of the sports from the University of Iowa. He dearly loved spending time with Connie and Renee. Ray and Connie traveled to Hawaii, and took several cruises together over the years during their retirement. Most of all, Ray loved being there for his grandchildren, whether it was at their sporting events or holidays he loved to make memories with them.
