Robert (Bob) Belosky, 72, of West Des Moines, IA passed away on September 11th, 2024 at Arbor Springs, West Des Moines, IA. A memorial service will be held this Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at 2:00 PM at The First Unitarian Church of Des Moines.
Bob was born on January 2nd, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Fritzie (Hertz) and Marvin Belosky. He grew up in Evanston, IL graduating from Evanston Township High School and University of Illinois Chicago. Much of his career was in Sales and Business Management retiring from QCI of Des Moines. Bob was an avid reader of the Wall Street Journal and loved cooking and long walks with his German Shepherds.
Bob is survived by his wife Margaret Karbeling of West Des Moines, daughter Jennifer (Jesse) Dale, grandson Ari Dale of Des Moines, IA and sister Diane (Bruce) Robinson of Seattle, WA, as well as 4 beloved nieces.
Preceding Bob in death are his parents, sister Judi (Steve) Friedman, and his first wife Elizabeth (Donlon) Belosky.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
