Nancy and Jeri,
Bob was so good to my sister Nancy and would help her out in any situation. I always loved him for that.  Such a generous and kind man. It seems he was always doing for others when he would show me what he was working on in his shop. I used a jig that's other day to bend some rods. It was something Bob had made me. He could make anything, it seemed. I'm sure he will be missed by many!!   Jean Terry (Kansas City)

 I remember Bobby giving his labor and objects he had to anyone in need,  even if he could use it or needed it himself.. He gave our grandson wood for Bon fire,. Made me a special mouse trap so our dog wouldn't get her nose in the trap. At that time didn't know he had love for dogs. Worked on our trailers and cars for nothing. Made me believe in old time values of people again, his sisters included in that. Donnie & Rita Newquist

I loved stoping by to see what inventive project he was tinkering with. Sleighs, push carts, a platform to convert his mower from a walk behind to a ride on, he even reinvented the mouse trap, adding a hindged cage to protect the bait from house pets. He was a great friend and neighbor and will be missed.

Bob added so much to my life!  Always so helpful, kind, generous. Such a creative capable man. Bob could figure out the way to fix a problem , and then was ready to implement it! What a joy to have had Bob in my life. He had a way of seeing the best in us,  oh my, he will be missed , with love

words cant express how sad it will be driving through commerce and bobby not be sitting on the wall reading a shopper magazine . naturally some body driving by would pull over for directions or for some old home b s session about the good old days. he love talking about old times,his memory was very good , i think that is what we  had in common , we swapped some old pictures ,      i have so many memories,some  kid would have a flat on his  bicycle, all work stopped till that was fixed , no matter what if some one needed help bob was there,  from cutting a tree down to helping dig a  new hole for their outhouse or shovel a nieghbors snow, bobby was always ready to help, there is so much more that i could  say ,,,but you should be thankful if you knew him and sorry if you didnt,,,,,,,,,,i miss you old buddy

Our Sorrow is deep because we're not able to be there in person to pay our last respects. There's not enough space to say all the good things he has done in life. The kindness Bobby showed to all every day of his life is never ending...an example was clearing the snow in commerce during the blizzard of 1973 to check on all the neighbors. A great man in life and will never be forgotten. Deepest Sympathy to all the family and friends.

We are so sad to hear about Bob passing.  We will miss him doing maintenance around Nancy's house. He always let our little Oliver follow him around and talk his ear off. We'll miss our friend.

Bobby will be missed by so many. 
I can remember staying the night at grandma and grandpas and stopping down to talk to bobby. I was only supposed to be riding my bike on the high road but I always ended up on the low road.
