Robin McClusky Allen was born on November 28, 1945, to LeRoy Miller McClusky and Dorothy Ann Moran McClusky in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and passed away on October 29, 2025, at Taylor House with her daughter by her side. A Visitation with luncheon in remembrance of Robin on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa or Taylor House Hospice.
Robin loved her family and friends. She devoted many years raising her children. When she was not raising children she worked as a secretary for Meredith Corporation, The United Salt Corporation and the Iowa Business Council.
Some of Robin’s favorite things were the Galleria in Houston, her flowers, dark chocolate, managing her investments and her grand dog, Kooper.
Robin is survived by her son William V. Allen, daughter Krissy Allen Katzmann (Kurt), brother Mark McClusky (Karen), sister Wendy Van Roekel (Deron), 3 nephews and 1 niece.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents Miller and Dorothy, sister Millanne and grand dog, Kooper.
