Roger W. Fisher, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015, to be with God. He celebrated his 83rd birthday on March 27, 2015.
Survivors include his brother, Richard Fisher; children, Steven (Jodi) Fisher, Rebecca Goodrich, Tracy (John) Elliott and Rex Fisher; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Rexford and Thelma (Gray) Fisher; siblings, Betty Jane Anderson, Mary Lou Jansen and Robert Fisher; wives, Maxine and Mary Ann; daughter, Rogena L. Fisher; son-in-law, Jay Goodrich; and daughter-in-law, Debra Fisher.
He was a friend of Bill W.
Roger’s memorial service will be held at Lee Town Assembly Church, 2720 State Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50317 on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 6 p.m.
