Thomas M. Donahue, 71, went to heaven on December 12, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, IA on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Thomas was born January 28, 1943 to Bud and Ruth Donahue in Sioux Falls, SD. His main focus in life was God, family, friends and community.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda; two sons, Mark (Melissa) and Erik (Missy); five grandchildren, Sophia, Erin, Addison, Gabriella, and Owen Michael; one brother, Jim (Judi); sisters-in-law, Anna (Walter) Varakin and Debbie (Doug) Allemang; and brother-in-law, Gary (Deb) Johnson. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
