John "Jack" H. Lavin Jr.

Jack was a long time employee at the Bracken Company and McDevitt Trucks.

He was renowned for his generosity with his family and friends and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved the countless family gatherings.

He was an avid Sox, Celtics, Pats and Bruins fan. He loved being on Cape Cod. He also enjoyed lobstering off of the Merrimack River on the weekends and card games.

He is survived by his siblings David Lavin (Donna) and Lorraine Lavin Reed, his nephews and nieces Christopher Lavin Reed (Mary), Brian Reed (Sue), Kyle Lavin, Monica Lee Lavin Hudson (Tate) and grandnieces and nephews Elinore Reed, Robinson Lavin Reed, Kelly Reed and Levon Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 from 8:30AM-9:30AM at Doane, Beal and Ames, 260 Main Street, West Harwich, MA. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main Street, West Harwich, MA. Burial will follow at Island Pond Cemetery, Harwich.
